What's includedWhat our dishwasher installation includes
Every standard install covers removal of the old unit, the full hookup, a load test, and haul-away. A few things are add-ons because they depend on your specific kitchen. Here is the breakdown so you know exactly what you are paying for.
01✓
Old unit removal
We kill the breaker, close the supply valve, disconnect the old dishwasher, and pull it out on an appliance dolly. We inspect the cabinet floor for water damage and check the water inlet valve and drain hose for cracks before anything new goes in.
02✓
Supply and drain hookup
New compression fitting and ferrule on the supply line, new hose clamps on the drain, and a code-correct high-loop or air gap secured to the cabinet. We confirm the disposal knockout is punched so the dishwasher drains instead of backing up.
03✓
Electrical connection
We land hot, neutral, and ground on the junction box, check polarity with a voltage tester, and confirm the dedicated circuit holds under load with a clamp meter. If the circuit is shared with the disposal, we tell you before we connect anything.
04✓
Leveling and door alignment
We adjust the leveling legs front-to-back and side-to-side so the door seals, the racks roll without binding, and the unit does not rock when you pull a loaded rack out. Countertop height and cabinet width get checked before the unit slides in.
05✓
Full cycle test
We run a complete heated wash cycle, watch the drain for backflow, and check the cabinet floor with a leak detector. If a fitting weeps, we fix it on the spot. You get a walkthrough on filter cleaning and the reset sequence for your brand.
06✓
Haul-away and cleanup
The old dishwasher, cardboard, foam, and old drain hose leave with us. We sweep the cabinet bay and leave the kitchen the way we found it, minus the broken appliance. Haul-away is included with most installs.
